The investment seeks a high level of current interest income exempt from federal and Virginia state income taxes for individual investors as is consistent with preservation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities the income from which, in the opinion of counsel to the issuer of each security, is exempt from federal and, as applicable, the fund's state income tax. It selects investments without regard to the alternative minimum tax ("AMT"). Additionally, under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in Virginia municipal securities. It is non-diversified.
