The investment seeks to provide current income exempt from federal income taxes and from the personal income taxes of Alabama and to preserve capital. The fund invests primarily (under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets, including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in municipal bonds, notes and other debt instruments the interest on which is exempt from federal income taxes, including the alternative minimum tax, and from the personal income taxes of Alabama. Its weighted average maturity is expected to be between 3 and 10 years. The fund is non-diversified.
