Summary

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities (including, but not limited to, common stocks, preferred stocks and securities convertible into common or preferred stocks) of U.S. and foreign companies engaged in the energy and natural resources industries. It typically invests at least 50% of its assets in crude oil, petroleum and natural gas companies. The fund also may invest up to 35% of its assets in precious metals, such as gold bullion, and companies engaged in the production of precious metals. It is non-diversified.
