The investment seeks as high a level of current income as is consistent with liquidity and safety of principal. The fund normally invests in high quality debt securities rated investment grade or higher at time of purchase. It invests at least 65% of net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities. The fund maintains an average dollar weighted maturity between 1 and 3 years. Up to 10% of its net assets in each of the following: (1) international fixed income debt; (2) emerging market fixed income debt; and (3) high-yield securities (also known as "junk bonds"). The fund is non-diversified.
