Fund Overview
The investment seeks total return. The fund generally invests in a portfolio consisting primarily of treasury securities, U.S. government agency securities, mortgage- backed securities, asset-backed securities, investment-grade corporate securities and related derivative contracts. It may also invest in government securities that are supported by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, such as those issued by the Government National Mortgage Association ("Ginnie Mae"). Up to 20% of the portfolio may be allocated to mortgage-backed securities which may, but need not be, backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.
