Fund Holdings

Gross generally invests in short-term bonds in a variety of sectors, including corporate, MBS, and treasuries, according to Morningstar. Management will generally hold short-term, high-quality bonds. Gross can also invest up to 10 percent of its total assets in high-yield bonds, up to 30 percent of its total assets in “securities denominated in foreign currencies,” and up to 10 percent of its total assets in “securities and instruments that are economically tied to emerging markets countries,” according to the fund’s prospectus.
