Summary
The investment seeks a high level of total return consistent with the preservation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in fixed income instruments. The fixed income instruments in which the fund may invest can be of varying maturities and include bonds, debt securities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities (including to-be-announced securities) and other similar instruments issued by various U.S. and non-U.S. public- or private-sector entities. It invests primarily in investment grade securities, but may also invest up to 25% of its assets in non-investment grade securities.
