Fund Overview
The investment seeks as high a level of current income as the adviser believes is consistent with safety of capital; reducing changes in its share prices compared to longer term portfolios is a secondary goal. The fund invests at least 65% of its net assets in (i) obligations of the U.S. government, its agencies and instrumentalities, and (ii) debt obligations rated at the time of purchase. It maintains a portfolio of investments with a dollar-weighted average maturity or expected life normally less than five years.
