Summary

The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks in a diversified portfolio of companies with small market capitalizations. The advisor defines small-cap companies as those companies with market capitalizations within the range of companies in the Russell 2000® Value Index at the time of investment. Although the fund invests principally in U.S. companies, it may invest up to 15% of its total assets in equity securities (consisting of common stocks, ordinary shares and ADRs) of foreign companies that are traded on U.S. exchanges.
