The fund invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowing for investment purposes) in small capitalization companies (i.e., companies with market capitalizations of up to $2 billion at the time of purchase). It generally invests a significant proportion of its assets in companies with market capitalizations under $500 million at the time of purchase. The fund uses an actively managed, value-based investment approach focusing on the long-term market cycle (at least 3-5 years) to select investments.
