Summary

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities of small-cap companies. It currently defines small-cap companies as those with market capitalizations between $50 million and $3 billion at the time of purchase. The fund's investments will generally consist of securities publicly traded in the United States, which may include common stocks, preferred stocks, warrants to acquire common stock, securities convertible into common stock, and American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs"), which evidence ownership of securities in a foreign company.
