The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in common and preferred stocks of small-capitalization U.S. companies. Its investments include U.S. micro-cap companies, which, at the time of purchase, have capitalizations that place them among the smallest 5% of companies listed on U.S. exchanges or in over-the counter (OTC) markets. The fund may also invest in foreign securities.
