The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of U.S. companies with small market capitalizations (those with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 2000 ® Value Index) or in securities with market capitalizations of $3.5 billion or less at the time of purchase.
