The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation primarily through investments in dividend-paying companies with small capitalizations whose stocks appear to be undervalued. The fund emphasizes investments in dividend-paying, small-cap companies that the portfolio management team believes to be undervalued based upon various financial measures/ratios and rigorous company-specific research and analysis. Under normal circumstances, at least eighty percent (80%) of the value of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, is invested in small-cap dividend-paying companies.
