The investment seeks to provide a total return from a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds. The fund allocates assets among various types of U.S. and foreign equity and fixed income investments based on the following model allocation: 0-40% equity securities, 0-60% convertible bonds, 0-100% fixed income securities and 0-100% cash or cash-like instruments. The allocation to equity securities and convertible bonds will not exceed 60% of the fund's total assets except for temporary defensive positions. The fund may invest in high-yield securities which are rated below investment grade. It may enter into short sales. The fund is non-diversified.
