The investment seeks capital appreciation and current income. The fund invests in other Harbor mutual funds according to an asset allocation strategy designed for investors who have retired and left the workforce in 2010. Its indirect bond holdings (approximately 73% of assets) are a diversified mix of debt securities, all with maturities of more than one year. The fund's indirect stock holdings (approximately 22% of assets) consist of large-capitalization U.S. stocks and, to a lesser extent, of mid-cap and small-cap U.S. stocks, as well as foreign stocks, including those of companies located in emerging market countries.
