The fund pursues its investment objective by investing in other DWS funds (i.e., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other pooled investment vehicles managed by Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., the fund's investment advisor, or one of its affiliates). It has a target asset allocation (the fund's current target asset allocation is approximately: 48% equity funds; and 52% fixed income funds), which portfolio management uses as a reference point in setting the fund's actual asset allocation. The fund is non-diversified.
