The investment seeks to maximize total return over time consistent with its current investment allocation. The fund is a "fund of funds," meaning that it seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in mutual funds managed by New York Life Investments. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by normally investing approximately 15% (within a range of 5% to 25%) of its assets in underlying fixed-income funds and approximately 85% (within a range of 75% to 95%) of its assets in Underlying Equity Funds. The underlying equity funds may consist of approximately 20% (within a range of 10% to 30%) of international equity funds.
