The fund invests normally at least 80% of net assets (plus any borrowing for investment purposes) at the time of investment in the common stocks of companies expected to benefit from the development, advancement, and/or use of science and technology. For purposes of satisfying this requirement, common stock may include equity linked notes and derivatives relating to common stocks, such as options on equity linked notes. It may invest up to 10% of its total assets in hybrid instruments. The fund is non-diversified.
