Summary

The investment seeks income consistent with relative stability of principal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its investable assets in money market obligations, bonds and other fixed income debt obligations such as U.S. government securities (U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds), mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, foreign securities and other short-term debt obligations. It will invest at least 65% of its total assets in debt obligations with a remaining average life of three years or less. The fund may invest up to 35% of its total assets in debt obligations with remaining maturities in excess of three years.
