Summary
The investment seeks current income and gains; long-term growth of capital is a secondary objective. The Alternative Income Fund is a non-diversified fund that invests all of its investable assets in the Alternative Income Portfolio (formerly the Water Infrastructure Portfolio), a series of Kinetics Portfolios Trust. Under normal circumstances, the Alternative Income Portfolio will hold a diversified portfolio of primarily fixed income securities and implement an equity put writing option strategy intended to generate returns from the receipt of option premiums.
