The investment seeks capital appreciation with income as a secondary goal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in a broad range of fixed income securities, including U.S. and non-U.S. government and corporate debt, mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities, loan participations, inflation-protected securities, structured securities, variable, floating, and inverse floating rate instruments and preferred stock.
