The investment seeks to total return, comprised of current income and capital appreciation. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of foreign securities. It invests primarily in government and corporate debt securities (generally represented by the sector categories within the Barclays Global Aggregate ex-U.S. Index (unhedged) (the benchmark index)), foreign currencies and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such securities. The fund will invest a significant amount of its net assets in foreign securities, including securities of issuers located in emerging markets countries.
