The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in companies with market capitalizations comparable to those of companies included in the MSCI World Small-Cap Index. It invests in companies organized or headquartered in at least eight different countries (one of which may be the United States) and the majority of foreign investments may be in Japan and Western Europe. The fund invests no more than 25% of assets in issuers that are organized or headquartered in any one country outside the U.S., other than France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom.
