This guy must be from old skool idiot or driving sixties cars.
DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE WHILE IT IS MOVING.
Turning of an engine is dangerous as the brakes will not work.
tip: If you accidentally turned it off, make sure you use the hand brake slowly to stop the vehicle.

There are better ways. I do almost everything at work. Shower, exercise, eat, washing and reusing containers, bathroom, internet surfing.
Here how this saves. Showering - cost of water, exercise - cost of gym, eat - cost of electricity and cooking gas, washing containers - cost of water, internet surfing - cost of internet and phone, bathroom - cost of toilet paper.
I saved over $600 a month and I don't really give up anything.

Plastic sandwich bags should routinely be rinsed out, dried, and reused as much as possible--not as an extreme measure, but as everyday recycling, to keep them out of the landfills.

OK, so buy cookies or ingredients that you don't need, but you just cut back on your ridiculous soda habit ($50/month? = No wonder we're the most obese nation on the planet!). I especially love the "Failed at life? Then move in with your parents and leach off of them!" advice. Classic. This should be called the Nine Worst Ways To Save Money. Ok, maybe 8. I can deal with rinsing the ziploc bags.

Shop in the clearance isles...you can find name brands (especially at the end of the season) at 50-80% off. Buy only when you need something, or when it is sale, not when you have an urge or whim. Whim shopping is what all the stores are hoping for when you walk in. Don't be a sucker.

You know you're a redneck if....you bake cookies in your car.

Oh my God! Kill others in car crash and get killed for a few cents worth of gas?
Better don't drive at all...

one of the 9 ways of extreme saving is to "stop saving"?? I understand that if you are just building more cc debt then that can be an issue. But I dont see how paying off the cc and then not having cash for purchases helps save? Then you just have to use the cc again because you have no funds saved...thats backwards.. how bout cut up the credit card, pay off a bit a time and only buy what you have cash for AFTER saving is taken out of each check.
