TSP's Mutual Fund Window Gets Icy Reception

Well, as Bogleheads know, passive management beats active management in the long run for virtually everyone. It is looking out for the welfare of "used car salesmen" and others to NOT give you the control you covet over your funds -- you will be MUCH RICHER when you're old for it. You are simply seeking the opportunity to shoot yourself in the foot.

Me, I'm a federal employee in the TSP with enough sense to know what's good for me.

Well, rep. Gerry Connolly, if you had all your savings put into PASSIVELY managed blanket funds in preference to an ACTIVELY managed Mutual fund, maybe you would garner a smidge of credibility with all those duffus statements you are quoted with... but if all your money were to be in passively managed funds , such as TSP's F,C,S, and I funds, then you are either very foolish or not qualified for the chair position you currently hold.

We want more control with our money and you piss on our heads and say its raining. Start listening to us, and not the special interests. TSPtalk.com. Please give us that window.
