When Will The Fed Finally Raise Rates?

When the economy was booming and the companies were paying headhunters to hire people in high demand, and paid big bonuses to get them on board the interest rates were in a steady climb the economy could stand interest rate increases by the Fed. Those days are gone and people, who are fortunate enough to have a good job, are under pressure to work for less, take on more work and see losses in their healthcare, 401k contributions IF they got them before, are terrified there will be another DOWNSIZING and their job has been illiminated. In this environment a big push to take on a huge mortgage is not likely. The bankers not included, the rest of us are not entertaining any big increases in income to plop down to use for big loans.
