Lived in Vallarta - was glad to get out!

Noisy - constant solicitation - polluted - can't take a pleasant quiet walk on the beach cause of the numerous selling and tourists... and the cops are thieves (not all but you can't trust them)

No way is living better in Vallarta then in Cancun or La Riviera.....!!!!!

"The Best beach" - Puerto Vallarta?

I live here in P.V., but have travelled to many more beautiful beaches in the world. The sand in P.V. is very course in areas. The beaches are nice, but certainly not the best.

Ambergris Caye, Belize for best beach..you have got to be kidding....there are so many weeds, you can't even see the water...

Belize has great snorkelling and in general good water sports, but nice beaches is not something they can brag about...it just ain't there...unless you have not been to real Caribbean beaches where you can see your feet from a standing position because the water is soooooooo clear...lol!

One of the nicest stretches of sun and sand I have visited is Varadero Beach, Cuba. Just gorgeous and no complaining, arrogant Americans at the resorts.

I've been to Uruguay several times, and the weather is fantastic from November till April, but the winter months of June, July and August could be rainy and pretty gray
