Chatty Grocery Store Clerks?

Listening to the radio this weekend, I heard a new Trader Joe's ad that said not only are store employees—known as "crew members"—more than willing to answer food questions, but they'll also dish on the latest movies and books. They'll even check on the weather for you if you ask. My question: Is that what we want from our grocery stores?

It is so nice when a cashier makes small talk with me, a man, when I am checking out finally after a long running battle with the old crabby woman one arm isle buggy blockers who think that they own the entire isle and no one dare look upon or touch their sacred shelves.

Why not give men a day in the stores when no women are allowad? We know what we want, where it is and how to get it in the cart. The "Chatty" young check out girls should be allowed to be topless on those men only days. we will start giving them tips!!! My tip would be "It's to warm in here".

Verely Sincerely.

Hey, you don't want to chat while your groceries are scanned, bagged and made ready to go? Don't, easy solution really. I find the cashiers and employees there refreshing as compared to most places where the people 'helping me' seem like they would rather be doing anything else.
