The Norovirus isn't limited to the Ohio Chipotle and Hepatitis A isn't the only problem with the Chipotle in San Diego, CA. Myself and several friends got the Norovirus from Chipotle in Pacific Beach. I used to each at Chipotle at least once per week before getting sick from eating their food. They were kind enough to offer a refund for their food that I purchased that made me sick, if I still had the receipt. I did still have the receipt, but it was in the trash can with the burrito that I threw up! I will never eat Chipotle again. I would rather have Jack in the Crack, McDonalds, or any other nasty fast food. It is hard to go back to a restaurant that repeatedly makes people so sick. The thought of Chipotle now makes me gag.

Yes, back when I was a student I worked for Chipotle. I am not into their food since I ate it every day; however, I must say, they have extremely clean restaurants. I would eat there before I ate at, I don't know... Rubios(?).

chipotles mexican grill makes food quality a priority.

they work hard and spend lots of resources on their

employees skills traing . in fact they have the lowest employee

turnover in the industry. The crews are stable and well trained

and do a good job. wish they would build one near me :-)

This isn't the first time you've gotten sick eating at Chipolte and it won't be the last. There is one here in Plano, TX off Highway US 75 that I USED to eat at all the time freshman year of college from Auguest to Mid October. I stopped eating there when I bit into something like a chicken bone in the food, spit out that piece, bit in again and realized it was RAW CHICKEN. It was still frozen solid in the middle. I ended up with a bad food poisoning case I missed school for the next 3 days cause of it. That was back in 2002, its now 2008 and I haven't eaten at a Chipolte since. Jack in the Crack is another one I've had issues with still frozen food.

So Norovirus wasn't enough to get Chipotle management to crack down on hand washing? How about a little Hepatitis A? 6 known cases being reported so far from a La Mesa, CA Chipotle. One that I have eaten at many times... it will be a while before I am in the mood for their steak burritos again.
