I drink beer like I drink wine, with food or for a certain event, occasion. I drink nice, full Belgium beers during the winter and tend to stray towards everything Bells Brewery if I am going American (Bells Oberon all summer long for sure

). But being from St. Louis, if I need a cheap case I'll grab some buds.

Smuttynose IPA is great! These are my favorites/recommendations: Victory Golden Monkey, Stone Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, Anderson Valley Winter Solstice, and Avery's Hog Heaven.

As for myself... I've been enjoying the Sam Adams Octoberfest but I think that might almost be done for the season - I'll have to find something new.

I try to drink three or four beer A YEAR.

Couldn't care less what brand. The cheapest fare is just fine for this.

My boyfriend is from Milwaukee and I'm from Merrimack NH....which means our cheap beer choices are mortal enemies. He's miller lite and I'm budweiser. If he's paying I'll upgrade to Corona, since he refuses to pay for Anheuser Busch products. If I'm paying it's one of the Buds or Corona. If I have a lot of money then it's something like Sam Adams Seasonal brew or Long Trail.

Recently the 6 packs of Long Trail and Sam Adams have been starting to look a little expensive, so it might be time to buy Bud...

I typically buy my beer based on my mood when I'm standing at the display. I usually don't buy Miller or Old Style (never Bud) unless I'm buying in bulk for a party.

My favorites include Bass, Dos Equis brown bottle, Michelob, Rolling Rock, Heinekin and Honey Brown.
