Recession 2.0: No More Nights Out

I'm tired of people saying don't spend. Put everything in savings. What do you think is causing the recession. Lets face it, most Americans are sheep. They have had too many years of reality television dulling their minds and robbing them of the ability to think for themselves. If the media continues to tell them that not spending is the answer, that is exactly what they will do. It is a self fulfilling prophecy. We need to get out of panic mode and get back to a normal lifestyle. Gas prices are back to a manageable amount. Take that extra money and use it to get the economy going again.

Prior writers wrote of drawing on savings. Are these DINKs (Dual Income, No Kids) telling us they have absolutely no emergency funds? If so, how irresponsible of them! Would they then come to us taxpayers and ask us to help them make ends meet because they chose to spend everything when they had money?
