Kate Hudson: I’m Cutting Back, Too

December 8, 2008 RSS Feed Print

Like millions of Americans, Kate Hudson says she’s cutting back this year, according to People. She’ll still spend the holidays skiing in Colorado, but instead of buying expensive presents, she’s creating her own gifts.

Hudson says she’s knitting something, although, in the interest of keeping the surprise, she declined to give many details. “We’ve always been pretty crafty anyway,” she told reporters at a press conference for Bride Wars, her new movie co-starring Anne Hathaway. “We all knit. The girls knit. This year I’m doing these great big knit…well, actually I shouldn’t even talk about it because I can’t say it!” she said.

She's not the only celebrity to adopt a new code of frugality this season -- Oprah has already announced that she's doing the same.

It is even funny to hear about such steps of celebrities. She is cutting back and creates gifts on her own!!! Really funny! Perhaps it is more extravagant for her to do something on her own... It may be anything but for cutting back... Reducing expances is not about celebrities... ( http://rapid4me.com/?q=Kate+Hudson )

You can have the best of both worlds by creating personalized items. Shirts, caps, bags and lots , lots more.

Create and buy.

Call me a grinch, but who cares what millionaires do to "cut back?" They don't have to, they choose to. And how are they cutting back? By reducing their spending from "extravagant" to merely "expensive?" All these rich people are doing are soothing their consciences by making-believe they are one with the little people.

Give me a break.
