I live in Illinois. Illinois has the highest sales tax in the country. We do not have double coupons here, so it is hard to stockpile. Gas prices have been very high lately, and it is hard to save a buck. Coupons are a way to survive in this crazy economy. People need to save money if only to pay a bill. I have found coupons for most of the items I need. There are ways to get the coupons you need. I save alot by using coupons and combining them with sales. I love Refund Cents! This website has helped to see a way out of debt. Through this web site I know I can survive in this expensive city!

Tonight's episode was absolutely disgusting...the Britt was an astounding example of small-minded, pompous idiots. He thinks he's SMART???? His IQ might be high (althought I wouldn't trust a single word he says while bragging about himself), but the UniBomber had a high IQ also, and was much smarter than this a$$. What a pitiful, insecure soul. The Midwest family did a wonderful job of being open-minded to others. The Britt's wife was a lovely person, as were all the members of the Missouri family. Of all the polar-opposites they've had on this show, I believe he's the first one who was actually incapable of cooperating...his wife must be so embarrassed. Poor, pitiful ogre. If he thinks this country is so awful, why did he leave his own? They were probably happy to see him go.

While I think it's great to be a coupon clipper - I didn't care for the show at all - thought it was dull and have seen better versions of "wife swap" - both families were boring - dull - drab - ignorant - The MCINTYRE FAMILY are total slobs - use some of the $ you saved for a make over - and maybe Jenny Craig - The coupon kids need a life outside of clipping coupons - I felt so embarrassed and sorry for them! It's nice to save $ here and there - But they need a social life - they remind me of sheltered home schoolers!

You can be a Coupon Queen and look like one - or not -

I am a couponer! I used to spend $100-$150 at the grocery store. With coupons, sales and smart shopping I now spend under $50 a week on a family of 5 with pets for groceries as well as our health and beauty needs.

I too subscribe to Refund Cents. I have tried The Grocery Game and just didn't see the value in it. Refund Cents always has the deals posted on the web board. There are numerous free sites, but you spend so much time sorting through all the different forums and then you always miss something. Now if people that are very concious of where they spend their money see the value in Refund Cents...

Personal upkeep ~ I know what stores the couponer shops at and if you gave her $10 she could turn it into over 100 units of make-up by the weeks end ~ I know I could! Last week Walgreens had Revlon items free, now it is Physicians Formula, Rimmel & Sally Hansen at CVS. I have 100+ items I will gift or sell for $1 each ~ but ironically, I have so much and have to remind myself to wear it!
