The End of Credit Card Rewards?

Loyal BP chase customer. Had rewards in my account. They dropped my credit card and took my rewards and claimed I was using the card for business use. I drive many miles to work and back and pay for gas for my teenager. It was just an excuse to ripp me off.

First Chase reduced rewards from 5% to 3%. Then it started a monthly limit to go with its annual ceiling of $300 on rewards.

Discover Gas card has gotten stingier gradually too.

Citi went down from 5% to 2% a year ago or so.

AmEx and Discover have also gotten worse as to foreign exchange.
