This is a excellent example of how to be as an average person the end period! Especially in this day and time. Also his music is not only some of the best every made but also tells the public how a lot of people feel on sitiuations. He had the balls and sources to make it public! So yes he has sold a product that has BENEFICAL to all people!

I like this article... it shows prudence, frugality, and sober thinking from a guy that the media tries everything to make look like a villain. And to whoever made the first comment, that's just ignorance and jealousy. And nothing good came from his music? Just 'cause I didn't come from the same mother as you doesn't mean that nothing good came from her. To each his/her own.

Eminem's music has many times inspired me for the better so Muser of NM's assumptions are just that ass u mptions.

Anyway, nice to see him being frugal and the INTELLIGIENT and loving man that he seems to be towards his family!

Doesn't matter whether people make 15 dollars or 15 million. We all have to be smart. LOL I'm sure Eminem has the Black History Card to make sure his bank account stays tight! For him I'm sure it's not too much of an issue but how many stories have we all seen where that guy used to be on top is now filing for bankruptcy! (hammer!)

For those of us living paycheck to paycheck give yourself an allowance, put it on your Black History Card and be Frugal!!

I don't think he was being silly at all, and I disagree that it's like one of us normal people buying a latte. We normal people can generally expect that we'll receive steady and gradually increasing paychecks over periods of decades. Even in troubled times, many more people keep their jobs than lose them. So if we're generally spending less than we earn, we don't have to worry about buying a latte today, because we can be pretty sure that we'll be able to earn more money tomorrow.

In the entertainment industry it's different. The biggest star in the world doesn't remain the biggest star in the world for very long, and you never quite know when the income stream is going to dry up. Just because most stars don't seem to worry much about this doesn't mean it's not sensible to do so.

EVERYONE should live like this. BE RESPONSIBLE with your money.

I'm sick of all these assh*les who spend what they dont have. F*ck that. Why should the responsible people have to pick up the slack for all the IDIOTS

I don't think its a bad example. It's 10 years old, as this happened before. It's not planted news: this just came up in an interview conducted elsewhere.

His music is beneficial to his fans.

Eminem may be rich, but not from selling something that was beneficial for his customers to be buying.

As for watches, there are many good ones for fifteen dollars, not fifteen thousand.

THIS ARTICLE SMACKS OF HAVING BEEN "PLANTED" AS FAUX NEWS TO PROMOTE THE NEW ALBUM. Surely USNWR is not this hard up for money.
