this is the same type of issue that google had with adwords to some degree with the adsense product. but they figured it out and make a ton of money on ads - just like facebook will.

i blog about the facebook ads program over at http://facebookads.net

If you're signing up for these free trials you gotta know that nothing in this world is totally free. Silly.

If you are tempted to buy from an ad in facebook, get off facebook and get it from a retailer you know and trust. One that you have a continuing relation with.

All this but no one knows how to stop the ads! If it wasn't making money and paying taxes the government might move a muscle to stop it. Maybe if a congress member was affected something might get done. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

for a referral so the Better Business Bureau is going after them? That's rich. the BBB works for the companies (businesses PAY for their ratings) and could care less about consumers. I wonder what this lot did to get this kind of attention.

I saw an ad on Facebook for an e-mllionaire scheme which appeared to have all the ususl endorsements but then threw in a supposed opt-in for a much larger scheme such that the user would barely realise they'd committed to it.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Why do people fall for those scams. While I wish people would be better about reading the small print or even checking into things I am glad the BBB is warning people. Unfortunately it will be those who don't read this that will be taken and lose the last of the money they have.

It's interesting that scam artists come out of the woodwork during bad times when people let down their guard a little as they are desparate.
