If I were ever in a position to pay for someone to clean....i'd pay them to do the chores I detest. Mainly, cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen, but especially the bathroom. Those rooms take the longest because I despise cleaning them...so I get plagued with ADD

That if you want a job done right, do it yourself.

Daphne- that's a good question - I found my cleaner, who I love, by asking for recommendations from friends. That seems like the best way to find someone you trust and like.

I know it's a shame, but I would want to clean before the housekeeper came over because I would not want to seem like a slob to him/her. Pretty sad, I know.

Also, I've talked with people who had housekeepers when their kids were young. They said that the help would do well the first few times, and then they would stop doing such a good job.

Any suggestions on how to find good help?

Thanks.
