some suggestions for stretching dollars with out excess drama or trauma .When shopping for non food items such as tissue,paper towel laundry items- buy in bulk. Foods? family packs -then develop menu for month & start cooking then ,pack ,seal & date for immediate freezing following Casseroles,spaghetti sauce,chili,soups.Only use coupons for food products you know to be healthy especially when they are on sale .for day to day beans ,burgers , eggs,salads ,fresh fruit that is locally grown-it's fresher and less expensive.

Ultimately it all boils down to fiscal discipline, a subject that unfortunately isn't on the today's school curriculum.
