Seems like nobody here ever had kids or has any idea what they're talking about. High income earners should easily afford all the costs associated with kids, including private schools. If they are older (and earning more) they would probably like to trade their affluence for youth and energy. Although our economy is based on creating more consumers, which lower income families are generally better at than high income families; these tax breaks and credits don't come anywhere close to helping middle and low income families with the cost of caring and raising future adults.
