Geez, Kim. Good advice for some. But there are others out there who actually stay married and want to not only talk about finances together, but manage finances together. It makes for a much more harmonious and effective financial strategy for the couple to face all money decisions as a team.

Hi, thanks for your sharing. I love my boyfriend and we currently spend money like a couple. We do the financial planning together and enjoy spending money on things like eating and travelling. We build our relationship on trust and support. But I won't forget one thing, that is have part of money in my control. No matter what, being financially independent is some kind of bond between me and my boyfriend.
