Auto-enrollment in retirement plans can be beneficial, but, as we recently pointed out on Retirement Town Hall (http://www.retirementtownhall.com/?p=1098) plan sponsors need to help employees take a more all-encompassing view of retirement or they may be giving people a false sense of security about their retirement savings.
