If Gen X'ers had spend modestly in other areas than housing, then I might believe this argument. However, Gen X'ers have spent themselves into a black hole by over-spending on EVERYTHING in a gluttonous party of unadulterated greed. They have over-spent on electronics, cars, clothes, vacations, anything that they felt increased their "status" in life, not just on housing. Get real!
