yes you can make it on 20,000 a year, been there and done it... grow and can your own food, shop thrift stores, dry clothes on lines or bars, cut your own hair,make your own soap, use lights only in the room you are in, get rid of cell phones,computers(use the librarys),just having the bare necessities make a difference instead of having stuff you dont need.

You're definitely right - entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. I do wish you would name names, though. I don't know of any credible writers who have ever said starting and running a business is easy. They all seem to agree you should have a plan and then work your butt off if you want to be successful. And often that plan involves keeping your day job, just as you recommend.

I look forward to reading your book, especially as someone who helps others make the transition from working for others to working for themselves.
