yep! I am a French woman who lived and worked in the US for the past 20 years and did not find the American Dream...!!! so I moved back to my parents at the age of 44...!!!!

now what!???

knowing that everywhere you go the rent is going to kill you!!???

why bother working knowing you work to pay the rent itself anywhere on this Planet??!!!

France is a good place to go back home to as the government pays half of my rent and gives me 400 euros to live on....

not bad compared to the US!

you should all come living in my country! come on over!!:))

Namaste,

Nathalie

I really plan on moving back home more often than before. Frankly payinv rent ti my parents and helping them with their mortgage and saving the other part of my salaryis a smarter investment.

My sister now has both her young adult sons living with her AND their girlfriends. It would've been unthinkable a generation ago.

This moving in together is not necessarily a bad thing for the emotional health of everyone concerned. Whereas there is evidence that we were "Drifting Apart in the 21st Century" (book by Drs. Olds and Schwartz) with leading to a host of negative psychological effects maybe we'll see an improvement in our general emotional health.. after all we all need to be loved. It's better when that love is felt directly.

Housemates can be good for all. More at www.sharinghousing.com
