Gen X has been lost for over thirty years.

Aborted. Throwaway. Latch key. Past is

prologue. Get used to it.

I am a gen x'er and I think of us as a lost generation. However, I believe the Y'er have it just as bad. I have mountings of school loans, degrees, job history, but make 800 a month. Yeah you heard me 800 a month. I have two degrees. If you don't think there is a storm coming you haven't been looking. I am sad. I made good money in 2008. I had a great job. Since then I have worked at a gas stations and polling centers. I have to take my experience and education off my resume to get a job anymore. Anyway, I hope we work this out but I have my doubts. Too much debt... Not enough good jobs... Too much poverty... How many people do you know that get food stamps?

I've often wondered if Kimberly and Veronica are just two different sides of the same multiple personality disorder.

I don't know what Gen Y is facing or what their experience is like.. but I can tell you, as a Gen Xer, it's not a walk in the park! I have three degrees in science from UNC and have topped out at $33K per year. My science classmates couldn't even find a job in their field. They sell cars and drugs.

I happen to be a member of Generation-X and after 20+ years of working for peanuts and 3 college degrees under my belt, I still couldn't get any respect because of these cowards stating that they're hiring and when I apply, they're the ones who wrangles any excuse not to hire me. But EXCUSES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED TO THOSE WHO RENDER IT TO NOT ONLY ME BUT TO THOSE WHO ARE IN THE SAME GENERATION AS MYSELF
