The price of oil is never coming back down. We need the reserve full, and the capacity increased even further to safeguard our nation.

Filling up the SPR is a transfer of wealth from the people to oil companies. It's paid by our tax money and goes into the pockets of oil exporters some of which could be American companies operating abroad and selling oil for SPR.

Ironically the very same oil companies are still getting subsidies here in US!
