I tend to get very anxiety ridden when I see articles posted like this one, thinking they will convince many people they know what they are talking about because that is what CON artists do, convince people.
Then I see there are sane people out there (like you) who are thinking and going the right direction.
Bush years and his way of running the economy has nearly ruined our country. McCain will continue spending all our money in Iraq at the expense of the citizens of the US. Do not let this continue for a single year more. PLEASE.

When you hear somebody tell you that getting rid of congressional "earmarks" will fix the federal budget, you have met a colossal spinner of untruth.
$35 billion dollars worth, they were, in 2006 and 2007, according to above----while the federal debt has grown by more than $4 TRILLION in the Bush years.
And worse yet, a majority of the earmarks are not spent wastefully at all. They are for projects that voters and corporate constituents want and need, such as infrastructure upgrades, and will merely be enacted by a different mechanism if "earmarking" by individual legislators is eliminated.
Don't elect the liars seeking to lull you to sleep about some seemingly infinite number of "bridges to nowhere" they can just cross off the list. It is very very bad for your country. We've been there, done that already.
