I would not campaign for McCain nor send money for his campaign if Mike Huckabee were the veep candidate. i could not see him as president if something were to happen to McCain.

HE IS THE BEST ONE FOR VICE PRESIDENT I HOPE JOHN McCAIN PICKS HIM !! WHAT A GREAT TEAM THEY WILL MAKE .

Huckabee is the only reason I wouldn't vote for McCain. Romney is the only reason I would vote.

You've got to be kidding. Huckabee is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Don't be fooled by his disengenous "I'm saved" routine. He just wants whats best for him not what's best for the country.

It seems sort of silly to write an article about Huckabee becoming VP, and then right below it to have a poll on who should be the VP. Does the article not inform people who to vote for. Where is objectiveness in this? Where is the media professionalism? Shame on you James

The subject line says it all... My hopes prayers are still on Mitt Romney. He is by far the best choice for VP. He never pardoned a killer just because the "got saved" in jail like Mr. Huckabee did. He is not a bigot and he is a great conservative leader....

Huck is a pro-life liberal, not to mention a religious bigot. There's no room for this kind of politician in the GOP, except maybe in Arkansas.

Give me a conservative with some economic, social, and fiscal conservative credentials for VP. There's lots of options out there, but seems Romney is the obvious choice right now.

From my blog (http://thevaluesvoter.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!F3D4C1BC1D8B0D91!978.entry), a bunch of reasons why Huckabee just makes the most sense.

And the last commenter, hsmith, is right. Huckabee supporters don't give up and we really are super-committed to our guy. We're not paid. We're not following our "leaders" or doing what the media tells us to do. We're following our hearts - this is the best guy to be the number two. It would be a mistake to not pick him.

In fact, the sites clearly state that they are strictly for entertainment. If Huckabee's supporters are this dedicated months after his concession, then they might be pretty good people to have on deck in the McCain campaign. He needs some enthusiasm.
