Why should a person's religious beliefs even be an issue even though his are a bonus? We are not electing a spiritual leader we are electing political leaders. We are electing a team to manage our country. Mitt Romney brings an incredible resume to the table. Most people with his credentials stay in the private sector and make tons of money without the public scrutiny. His basic Mormon beliefs of strong family values, honesty, self reliance, tolerance of others and personal accountability are exactly what this country needs to regain its position in the world and the respect that we have lost through the last 2 administrations. He will provide the economic leadership to restore the US economy. Mitt Romney would make a great VP!

John McCain and Mitt Romney are both going to do what is right for this country. Im a Michigander and have a lot of faith that Mitt with all his success, will help get are economy back on track. The demogods biggest fear is McCain picking Mitt Romney.

Sure, Huckaberry can related to us??? He earned dirty money by talking about bible(Christ Teaching). I don't believe an evangelical paster who makes money for living by preaching??
It doesn't make sense. You should be working like you and me.
He is very jealousy of Romney and so do all his followers. He hate us because there are lots of evangelical Baptist converted to Mormon in the history so they are just jealous about Mormons.
Shame of you guys! There are lots of Mormons around me and they are hard workers and such good examples to us.

Mitt Romney is the only one who could fix economical problems we are facing now and he will debate with Obama. Obama will Not be able answer like Romney cause Obama is fake and lier. He has no value in his life so that he flip flop here and there.
We don't need any socialists in America. Hope Romney will become the President in 2012.

MITT ROMNEY IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR VP BEACAUSE HE HAS NAME RECOGNITION AND EXPERIENCE.HE COULD BRING COLORADO,NEVADA AND MICHIGAN AS WELL.HUCKABABY WOULD ONLY HELP IN THE SOUTH WERE MCCAIN HAS THE ADVANTAGE.THE DEMOCRATS WON MOST OF THE CONGRESS IN 2006 AND HAVE ONLY MADE THINGS WORSE THAN WHEN THE REPUBLICANS DID.

A VP should be competent to take charge if the need should tragically arise as it has five times in our nation's history. Furthermore, If McCain picks someone who can't win in 2012 or 2016 he will do a disservice to the party. McCain said that he would make his pick based more on ability to govern than political reasons. No better choice than Romney!
As for the bigots who posted above, thank you for sharing, your ignorance speaks volumes about your so-called liberalism. Wasn't there a time that "liberal" meant open minded?

You know what let not fight anymore and let start getting John McCain elected President of the United States. I am doing all my best to get all my Latinos Brothers and Sisters to vote for McCain. I Believe Mitt Romney will be a Good choice i can bring Michigan in play and God Knows We need Michigan. We need to carry PA, OH, FLA, and Michigan in order for McCain to win. We also need to hold all of the South States to include GA, and Virginia. So let not argue about all this and get This BOZO Obama out. He flip flop on everything and Folks wake up and open your eyes and to start to get John McCain President. I am hearing Rumor!!! that OBAMA will be the King of the White folksand that Blacks will be the Superior Race for all the suffering they had. The white people what I am hearing is that OBAMA will pick up 75% of the white vote and Folks that is a Landslide. I wish in my heart that those who support the Huckster for VP, would get a reality check! Not only is Mitt better qualified to be McCain's VP, but he has far more character, integrity, knowledge, and experience to help our country battle its economic woes. This is the real Huckabee: bashed Mitt during the primaries due to his jealousy, gave in state tuition to illegal immigrants as gov,, pardoned thousands of criminals and illegals who were imprisoned, took private gifts in exchange for political favors, not to mention the #1 reason McCain won't choose him; his tax happy spending as gov. I'm tired of all the false Romney bashing when the truth is people have what I call MDS ( Mitt Derangement Syndrome). Basically, those who do not see the truly one of a kind man that is Mitt Romney are those who are jealous that Mitt followed the American dream and became successful. American's can't handle the fact that Romney is the total package. Whenever you are at the top both financially and personally/morally, people are always going to try to bring you down out of jealousy. I had hoped that American's would be intelligent enough to snatch up Romney from the start, but I guess their blinding ignorance misguided them to Huckabee or Paul perhaps. Romney is a man to be greatly admired for his convictions and standards that he sets for himself as well as America. While Huckabee brags about his religious beliefs, Romney is out in the world making a difference, i.e. saving the olympics and starting/donating to several charities. Wake up America and support Romney for VP and pres in 2012 before Socialist Obama destroys the economy and has everyone but the poor waiting in line at the soup kitchen.

Romney is the most dynamic and competent choice McCain can make. Heaven knows we need competence after Bush. If McCain picks anyone besides Romney it will be a sign McCain is more worried about appearances than substance. McCain will never choose Mike UpChuckaBiggot as VP either. Romney out does him in every measure of a man: intelligence, accomplishments, capability, height, looks family,, and even in his commitment to God as Romney understands him. Romney just doesn't brag out his religiousity like UpChuckaBiggot.

Huckabee was a spoiler from the beginning. He would have gone nowhere except for the evangelicals voting against Romney. You got to have more then that to unite the party. He may play well in the south but no where else.
Romney is a stuffed shirt. I supported Romney but he failed to let his hair down because he was always defending attacks on his faith.
I still think Romney would be good but I don't think McCain will pick him soon enough to do any good. Unless Romney starts spending money right now to promote McCain.
